We are getting closer to Santiago every day. It’s rare we get pictures together but we walked today with Deb and she took this. We left early this morning and were treated once again to a beautiful sunrise over the city of Astorga. My new headlamp works great!👍 Some of the sculptures, cathedral and light effects we saw as we left town this morning. Just outside of Astorga we came across this lovely little chapel, Ermita de Ecco homo, we went in to warm up and get a stamp. a pilgrim invited us into the restaurant. More sculptures we saw today. I ended up just following Amy and her light and it worked out well. As soon as we got to Astorga I bought a new headlight. 🥰 Stopped at a wonderful cafe in this town and had one of the best cups of coffee and a Spanish tortilla, by the time we left the sun was coming up and relieved my anxiety about walking in the dark. ( by the way the sun comes up here now around 8:15 am) We are officiall...
