Day 24 - Leon to Villadangos Del Camino 13 miles (30,000 steps)

We have officially passed the 300 km mark and are now approximately under 180 miles to go! This pilgrimage has been amazing so far. The people we have met, the food, the culture, architecture and history. None of which have disappointed.

We left Leon early and walked through the city not needing to use our headlamps as the street lights are on.

We walked by this beautiful monastery and I had to take a photo of the shell on the side walk leading us out of town.

Second breakfast, the watermelon is amazing.

Amy at the 300 km mark!

This town had a small park next to this small chapel. In the spring the storks nest on the top!

We entered Virgen del Camino and were treated to this beautiful chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

More wine cellars built into the hillside.

Tomorrow we have a long day walking to Astorga. Early to bed for us! Meanwhile we have our feet up on the wall 🤪 It’s our favorite time of day!

Buen Camino!
