Day 5 Pamplona to Puenta la Reina 17.5 miles (26000 steps)
Alto del Perdón!
We left the beautiful city of Pamplona just as the sun was rising. The first 4 km went through the city where we were able to walk through The large, beautiful university campus.

The trail was marked with these lovely silver medallions along the way.

In The fields just outside of Pamplona we discovered these chicory plants with snails living on them.

Beautiful church and scenery along the way. I did light a candle while I was in the church and left a donativo.

Alto del Perdon (Where all your sins may be forgiven) along with the beautiful stones depicting many of the cities we have already been through on our Camino.

We encountered this beautiful statue of the Virgin Mary in Uterga where I left behind one of the rosaries that Sharon Gates gave me.
I thought this was cute. Someone had it in their backyard
.
these Camino shells were all along this beautiful road in Obanos
.
apparently, it’s a tradition for pilgrims to walk-through this wooden sculpture of a pilgrim, so of course Amy and I did that.
Bales of hay lining the road.
tomorrow we walk to Estella.
Buen Camino!
Beautiful Scenery. I hope the bodies are holding up...especially the feet!
