Day 35 Ribadiso to O Pedrousa - 15 miles (37,000 steps).

Today was a relatively easy walk, a lot of ups and downs that were quite lovely. We traversed through mostly small hamlets and farmland, not a lot of churches but I did find this lovely memorial where I was able to leave some of Julia’s ashes.

The trail was very quiet this morning, even though there are still more pilgrims walking, they seem to have now conformed to the “rhythm of the Camino” however by afternoon it seemed to get a little noisier, luckily we finished our day early.

Today there were not a lot of cool picture opportunities, but I did manage to get a few(thanks to Deb for the Donkey pic).

More flowers I saw as we had to detour around the Camino due to road construction, so grateful for a detour, these were behind someone’s beautiful farm.

We walked by this cool bar where after you drink your beer you write on the bottle and place it on this bottle wall that extends quite a few feet, it wasn’t beer o’clock yet for us so we moved on.

And right on schedule Deb caught up to us for our daily celebratory beer to toast ourselves that we are almost done our day.

Update on these little huts we keep seeing, Amy was right, this one is storing 🌽! We figured it was for storage of vegetables.

More cool signs we saw! Love the green Camino shell.

I have been seeing a few pilgrims with sleeping bags and ground mats and sure enough, here is a campground for pilgrims ( Drew this pic is for you)!

Church in O Pedrousa

We had dinner with Deb, Amy ordered the Camino beer ( first time we have seen this) she said it was ok!

Tomorrow we finish this absolutely wonderful journey. It has been so amazing, cannot wait to walk into the square. We have a big day tomorrow so to bed early for us.

Buen Camino!
